小城镇,一头连着农村,一头连着城市,是城乡的结合部。随着农业经济的发展,众多的小城镇,已经或正在发展成为广大乡村地区政治、经济、文化和技术的服务中心。积极发展小城镇,还可以促进城市的各项建设。为了推动小城镇建设问题的研究和讨论,更好地发挥小城镇在四化建设中的作用,本报拟在最近开辟《小城镇建设探讨》专栏。 Small towns, one attached to the countryside, one after another city, is a combination of urban and rural areas.
