The paper mainly introduced straw pretreatment, mutagenesis and breeding of enzyme-producing bacteria, improvement of cellulase activity, application of modern biotechnologies of enzyme components, construction and fermentation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae engineering bacteria, alcohol dehydration, etc. The application of new technologies, and prospects of the straw bio-ethanol conversion possible industrialization approach.
