对于20世纪中国美术史的研究及展览,近年来已成为热点是不争的事实。但总体看对于卢沉、周思聪先生这一辈艺术家的关注度,远远少于齐白石、黄宾虹、李可染、傅抱石等,而对活跃于20世纪上半叶的艺术家的研究,也远远少于对20世纪80年代以来当代艺术的研究。他们仿佛是两者的过渡阶段,当下对他们作为独立板块的探求相对薄弱。而且,对于这一辈艺术家的研究与对齐白石等艺术家的研究不同,“齐白石们”至少在国内是无须做价值判断性的
