用“春色弥望”一词来形容近年来美术理论界文章数量之多恐怕不算过份,这些文章所涉猎的领域也越来越广.其中包括哲学、美学、社会学、心理学乃至宗教迷信等等.文章洋洋大观使人目不暇接.这无疑是推动和繁荣艺术的必要气候和条件.但同时我们发现,在繁荣的另一面,对造型艺术的“硬理论”研究却十分萧条.这里我们所讲的“硬”是指制造艺术品的材料以及造型手段.而将另外一些涉及艺术观念、艺术认识的理论称为“软理论”.艺术品本不是单纯的思维状态,如果将艺术理论文章搞得过份形而上,变成一种类似于哲学的文章,这实际上是忽视了艺术本身的特征和规律.
