据外刊报道,为了适应形势发展的需要,加强各种废旧物资和材料的回收和再生利用,英国政府于1985年4月设立了物资回收部。前工业部长约翰·布奇于同年9月中旬被任命为物资回收部的首任部长。布奇自1982年4月起一直担任英国工业部副部长。
According to foreign media reports, in order to meet the needs of the development of the situation and to strengthen the recovery and recycling of various waste materials and materials, the British Government established the Materials Recovery Department in April 1985. Former Industry Minister John Butch was appointed as the first Minister for Materials Recycling in mid-September of the same year. Butch has been the Deputy Minister of Industry of the United Kingdom since April 1982.
