使用菱镁混凝土预制门窗构件,是节约木材的途径之一。这种门窗具有可钉、可锯、可刨、可上木螺丝和防潮、隔音、耐腐蚀等特点,经冻融交替和抗压试验,质量较稳定。与木制的同类产品相比,价格便宜一半多,长期使用质量稳定。构件制做所用主要材料为(1)菱苦土;(2)氧化镁水溶液,系采用敲碎的卤块溶解于水而得;(3)锯末,一般使用针叶类木材的产品,其粒径为1～3mm,腐朽的锯末不宜使用;(4)竹筋,加工成厚2mm、宽4～5mm、长度不等的规格,使用时按构件的断面尺寸和强度要求,分层放置。
