江苏省公路客运联网售票系统经过省内部分客运站一年的试运行后,于2007年1月1日,全省13个省辖市的19个一级客运站和部分市的二级客运站实现联网售票。旅客凡在专设的售票窗口购票,均可购得到达全国25个省、131个地级市,324个县的各类班车客票。当日,汪学君颇有几分志得意满:全省公路客运联网售票系统的开通,在全国是率先之举。为让更多城乡居民不出县城、甚至不出乡镇就能买到全国各地的车票,2007年还将实现全省所有二级客运站联网售票。汪学君表示:“首先,我们要求在江苏省运营的所有客车都要进站,规范经营;然后,凡是进站的车辆都要实行联网售票。这既是全面提升道路客运公共服务能力的有效途径,也是优化运输市场经营管理机制的重要手段。”
