采访王晓山的那一天。天气突变,大风。这是入秋后的第一个冷天,出奇的冷。让人感到很不适应。空旷的园博园还没有开园,只有零星的工人在进行着最后的清扫工作,让人感觉更冷。大风,冷,空旷,再来些尘土飞扬,和崭新的姹紫嫣红的园博园很不相称。
电话里,王晓山扯着嗓子喊:“我在北京园呢⋯⋯”似乎,如果他的声音稍小一些,手机的信号就会被嘶嘶的风吹走。
终于到了北京园。裹得严严实实的王晓山挪动着胖乎乎的身躯,热情地伸出肥厚的手:“你好你好,这个天让你们赶过来,辛苦了⋯⋯”其实辛苦的是他们。据说,他们的剧组每天5点起床,一直忙到晚上10点。期间,为了一个镜头,一遍遍地拍。演员们必须不厌其烦地走来走去,工作人员们已经满脸疲惫。
王晓山一口京片子,但他是济南人。说到家乡时,他还会来几句济南方言。而这正是他接下园博会形象片的原因。“搁在别的城市,我不来。说实话,我们的活儿多的是,我们还缺活儿吗⋯⋯”谈话中得知,王晓山来自北京电影学院,平时在外面拍片,偶尔也在学校带带课。他和张艺谋搭档拍过著名的《大红灯笼高高挂》,在圈内是个腕儿。
偌大个山东省,拍个形象片还要去北京请人?去了北京不请央视,为什么反而请电影学院的王晓山?形象片重要的地方在于传播力,为什么舍弃传播力更为广泛的电视制作团队而去请偏重艺术的电影人?一个个疑问在我脑中闪过。
问题单刀直入。王晓山的回答简单干脆:“我们的路子不一样。他们注重唯美,我们注重创意,有情节,有故事性。”王晓山说,他们都追求美,但方式不一样。形象片有了故事性,是他们的特点。在他们的理念中,形象片因此而变得有了活力。
然而这一切都需要创意。他们必须在很短的时间里,拿出超越熟悉这里风土人情的同行的创意。他们的创意必须得到公众的肯定。这是一个困难的问题,它考量的是一个团队的创意力量。
王晓山点破他的秘诀:“我的书读得还是不错的,这些书没白读,如今都派上用场了。”这是一个传统的回答,将问题引向制作人的基本功。此外,他说,他拥有一个非常优秀的团队,大家的思考能力都很强,且都有很大的阅读量。这些支撑起了他们的创意。
比如,在拍齐鲁园的莱芜园时,他们再现了曹刿论战的情景;在拍济南园时,他们的团队出了一幅对联。上联:纵横八万里,下联:上下五千年,横批:都在济南;在拍北京园时,他设计了宫女来回穿梭的情景;再比如,他们让孔子和现代的时尚女孩一起跳舞⋯⋯这些都是王晓山的招牌式手法,很符合北京电影学院的风格,而迥异于一般意义上的电视形象片拍摄手法。
为了拍好这部片子,王晓山的强大班底里囊括了全国顶尖的摄影和导演,而他自己则放手一线而做起了“大管家”。“我是搞电影的,但是又懂些经济学,所以做些外围的工作比较合适。”和客户谈判,组织演员,租用设备,都是王晓山的事儿。
此外,再加上先进的设备,王晓山的软硬实力都得到了保障。“我们用的是世界上最先进的摄影仪,在整个大陆只有三台,我们把它租来用在这部片子上。”王晓山说,为了保障精益求精,他们要在赶工期的情况下死死抠住每一个细节。“我们需要不停地更换演员,经常去北京拉演员,拍完后马上再送回去。”庞大的拍摄队伍,使他们在拍摄现场动用了16辆车。
当然,这意味着高昂的费用。“拍这部片子,我们每天需要的成本是13.8万元。”为了追求一个镜头,他们动用了航拍,又增添了一笔高昂费用。但他总能说服相关领导。“好的东西就是好的东西,它确实美,领导觉得花这个钱值⋯⋯”
王晓山说,张建国市长在谈到这部片子时,定了一个原则:“要让大家看了就想来”。现在看来,他认为达到这个境界已经没有问题了。而这其中非常重要的一个原因,王晓山认为在于园博园确实有着不同凡响的魅力。园博园乃至园博会是山东和其省会济南综合实力的释放。“要想把一个地方拍得漂亮,首先这个地方得是一个好地方,得有这个基础。我们都知道,这届园博会的园博园综合了前6届园博会园博园的经验,是中国目前水平最高的一个园博园。济南能够在不到9个月的时间建成中国水平最早的园博园,这是一件不得了的事情,是一个奇迹!”
他接着说,济南历史悠久,号称“泉城”,且处于南北交通要塞,是一座很有韵味的古城。“家家泉水,户户垂杨,一城山色半城湖,这是大家耳熟能详的事情。但是后来变得内敛了,和她的身份很不相称。”他说,“济南已经压抑了太久了,现在到了呐喊的时候了,需要一次呐喊了。”而这一声呐喊,则喊出了一个惊世园博园。如今,天下园林都来到了济南,天下人也都知道济南了。
和建设速度惊人的园博园一样,王晓山的形象片8月27日开拍,9月15日就杀青了。这个从1985年就开始玩电影的形象片制作人,为自己的家乡,以电影的方式,也进行了一次呐喊。

Why not invite a director in Shandong instead of Beijing? Why they invited Wang Xiaoshan of Beijing Movie University instead of a member of CCTV.
