粘虫又称夜盗虫,主要为害稻、麦、玉米、高粱、谷子等,大发生时也为害豆类、白菜、甜菜、棉花等作物。去年,尽管我省部分地区为粘虫中等偏重发生,但由于沈阳地区的部分大田由于防治不及时,造成玉米、高粱减产严重。这一教训使我们清醒地认识到粘虫的为害性和对粘虫发生进行预测及防治的重要性。粘虫有很强的飞翔能力,我省每年发生的粘虫均由南方远距离迁 Mythimna separata, also known as night insects, mainly for rice, wheat, corn, sorghum, millet, etc., also occurred in large beans, cabbage, sugar beet, cotton and other crops.
