当代中国维吾尔族使用的一种长颈弹拨乐器叫弹拨尔(Tanbour),其历史渊源悠久,但是缺乏有关的详细文献。直到清乾隆24年(公元1759年),才有《皇朝礼器图式》中记载回部乐塞他尔:“木柄通槽、下冒以革、面平背圆形如匕。通长三尺四寸二分五厘,柄长二尺六寸四厘九毫。上阔一寸二分八厘,下阔八分六厘四毫,厚九分五厘。槽长八寸二分八毫,阔三寸三分三厘七毫,厚一寸一分三厘七毫。以九轴绾轴,柄端二轴,绾丝弦。槽面设
