The Caribbean writer Georges Laméndee blends personal growth with national growth, evolving narratives of personal experience into the historical narrative of the colonized Caribbean minorities. In her fourth novel, “Adventure Season,” the protagonist Fo La continued the growth of G, the heroine in the Castle. She first recognized the colonial culture. She first sought the imaginary father through adventure and relied on the realistic experience of local culture and Fragmented memory to achieve their own attribution, and thus completed its own ethnic cultural identity trip. The transformation of the protagonist from the recognition of colonial culture to the pursuit of national culture reproduces the complex state of post-colonialism and reflects the struggle of the rights involved in the construction of national identity in the Caribbean.
