陕甘宁边区托幼机构为了培养身心全面发展的“未来新中国健全的主人公”,十分重视家长工作。她们认为只有托幼机构和家庭的教育目的、内容、方法要求一致,互相支持,密切配合,才能获得理想的教育效果,“若不与家庭密切结合,就等于吃饭只用一只筷子”。因此,尽管在战争岁月,各保育院、托儿所还是从“一切为了革命,一切为了孩子”着想,根据家长的实际情况,采用了多种形式,千方百计设法做好家长工作。一、定期向家长报告每学期结束,一些寄宿制的托幼机构,如陕甘宁边区第一保育院,便由保教科和卫生科联合进行一次幼儿身体全面检查和幼儿知识、技能等心理测验。对每个孩子的测验结果,由院所填写一式两份的“儿童身心发展情况报告”,一份留院所,供保育工作者做好教养工作参考,一份交家长,使家长了解孩子半年来身心发育的全貌,并尽力配合做好教养工作。
