产犊前母牛的饲养：由于胎儿大部分的生长是在怀孕期的后1/3的时间,所以这时需要大量的营养物质,同时母牛本身除维持需要外,营养物质也应有所贮备,以满足分娩后的需要。为了使怀孕后期的母牛保持中上等的营养水平，在青草生长旺季，可以依靠放牧和割青草饲养。
