Since its founding in Temple of the Temples in 1888 as a headquarters building, National Geographic has been illuminating the secrets of the world and showing the wonders of the world. On Wednesday (September 9), the magazine with the iconic yellow border entered its own unknown area because of financial problems. To avoid further downturns, the magazine was in fact sold to a for-profit company by its not-for-profit founding organization, whose main shareholder is one of Rupert Murdoch’s global media companies. The National Geographic Society transferred distressed magazines, their books, maps, and other media assets to a 21st Century Fox company for $ 725 million.
