元代皇家道教祭祀名目繁多,《元史·祭祀志》提到太一祭祀時有云:“五福太乙有壇畤,以道流主之,皆所未詳。”〔1〕按,五福太乙即五福太一。唐宋以來,太一神祭祀漸趨興盛。所謂太一,一般指五福、君棊、大游、小游、天一、臣棊、直符、民棊、四神、地一共十神。另一説法則指太一、五福太一、天一太一、地一太一、君基太一、臣基太一、民基太一、大游太一、九氣太一、十神太一〔2〕。其中五福太一所至之處,没有兵災,人民豐樂,尤爲朝廷所重視。據學者研究,五福太一理論最早出現於晚唐的四川。《唐國史補》卷中曰:“元和初,陰陽家言:‘五福太一在蜀。’故劉闢造五福樓,符載爲之記。”〔3〕入宋
