In this article, four preoperative CT examinations of parathyroid adenomas are reported below. Example 1, male, 53 years old. The history of kidney stone is 18 years. Fifteen years ago, the right renal pelvis was cut and stone was taken. Blood calcium and phosphorus were abnormal. IVP confirmed the recurrence of right kidney stones. Bone X-ray showed that both hands and skull were sparse. Neck CT showed a 0.5 cm x 0.8 cm nodule behind the left thyroid. The density was lower than that of the enhanced cervical vessels and thyroid gland, and the CT value was 63.1 Hn. The patient requested extracorporeal lithotripsy, refused surgery, and was discharged automatically.
