陶瓷雕塑创作,在五十年代初期短暂繁盛之后,沉默了许多年!去年,中国美术馆在北京举办了一个《小型雕塑展览》。大家看过,都很兴奋。展览会展出的陶、木、铸铜等作品,可以说明装饰雕塑家在人民生活中,也在我国优厚的文化传统中,一直没有停歇地努力奋斗着。《独立》(见图版页42)的作者长期生活在陶瓷产区,娴熟制陶工艺,掌握了釉料的科学技术性质,能够驾驭同时又善于艺术地用来表现作品。在第二次制做《独立》时,依样选用紫金、乌金釉,并施挂颜色鲜艳在烧造过程中易流动的钧红釉,更采用有结晶斑点感觉华美的铁红釉,表现非州人民欢庆自己的节日。十余年前创作毁于一旦的作品,这次才有机会重新呈献给人民。那用白色纹片
