本文评述了中国文化产业在发展过程中的优势和困境,分析了其产业竞争力,发现:优势在于文化产业规模不断扩大且增长快速,文化机构和从业人员创造价值与财富的能力不断提高,文化资金投入力度不断加强,文化贸易发展势头强劲;困境在于文化产业区域发展不平衡,产业链延伸不充分,文化企业发展规模小,文化贸易结构不合理,出口产品附加值低。另外,中国文化产品整体国际竞争力较强,尤其是工艺品、设计、新媒体和表演艺术,但影音等高附加值产品竞争力较弱;中国与香港特区、美国具有较高的文化产品出口相似性,与英国、日本则相对较低;地缘优势和文化的同宗同源性是影响文化市场出口相似性的主要原因。本文从政府、行业和企业三个层面提出发展中国文化产业、提升国际竞争力的政策建议。
This paper reviews the advantages and dilemmas of China’s cultural industries in the development process and analyzes their competitiveness in the industry. It finds that the advantages lie in the continuous expansion of the scale of the cultural industries and the rapid growth of cultural industries and their ability to create value and wealth, The dilemma lies in the unbalanced development of cultural industries, the inadequate extension of the industrial chain, the small scale of cultural enterprises, the unfair cultural trade structure and the low added value of export products. In addition, the overall competitiveness of Chinese cultural products is relatively high, especially in handicrafts, design, new media and the performing arts. However, the competitiveness of such high value-added products as audio-visual products is relatively weak. China and Hong Kong SAR and the United States have similar high export of cultural products But lower than those in Britain and Japan. The homogeneity of geographical origin and culture is the main reason that influences the similarity of cultural markets. This article from the government, industry and enterprises at three levels put forward the development of China’s cultural industries, enhance the international competitiveness of the policy recommendations.
