在单兵使用的大威力动能武器中,威力最大的非火箭筒莫属,但是它们发射时后方会形成一定范围内的危险区域,且产生的噪声巨大,枪口焰、烟等十分明显。相比之下,手持式榴弹发射器重量轻、体积小,发射特征小且在杀伤性方面威力巨大,发射空间不受约束,近几十年来成为许多局部冲突和特种作战部队的首选武器。俄罗斯KBP仪器设计局新近推出的GM-94就是一款典范之作。
The most powerful non-rocket launchers among the high-powered kinetic energy weapons used by the individual are none other than their launch, but when they launch, they form a dangerous area within a certain range and produce huge noise, muzzle flame and smoke. In contrast, hand-held grenade launchers are lightweight, small in size, have small launch characteristics and are devastating in terms of lethality and unrestricted in launch space, making them the weapon of choice for many local conflicts and special operations forces in recent decades. The newly introduced GM-94 from KBP Instruments and Design Bureau of Russia is an example.
