二十世纪二三十年代是广州社会由动荡步入平稳发展的时期,文化活动蓬勃发展且日益多元化。在革命风潮和社会改良文化运动话语下,戏剧等娱乐活动被赋予了政治宣传和社会教育的重任。然而,日益增长的商业化消费也不断影响着社会文化的发展走向。于是,消费主义与革命理想的冲突与碰撞便在所难免。1928年梅兰芳来粤演出这一事件便成为各种社会思潮交锋的导火线。关于这一段历史,学术界很少有人进行过深入研究。本文通过梳理《广州民国日报》及其副刊所记载有关“梅兰芳来粤”的广告宣传、报道和评论,指出梅兰芳以其艺人的身份在广州演出这一段历史事实,承载着中国近代社会思想变迁的一个历史片段。
The twenties and thirties of the twentieth century was the period from the turmoil of Guangzhou to the stable development of Guangzhou. Cultural activities were thriving and diversified. Under revolutionary rhetoric and social reforming cultural movement discourse, recreational activities such as drama have been entrusted with the task of political propaganda and social education. However, the ever-increasing commercialization of consumption also influences the development of social culture. As a result, conflicts and clashes between consumerism and revolutionary ideal are inevitable. In 1928, Mei Lanfang came to Guangdong to perform this event and became the fuse for various social ideological conflicts. Few people in academia have conducted in-depth studies of this period of history. By combing the advertisements, reports and commentary on “Mei Lan Fang La Yue ” recorded in “Guangzhou Min Guo Fang Daily” and its supplement, it points out that Mei Lan Fang performed this historical fact in Guangzhou as his artist, A Historical Fragment of the Changes of Social Thought in Modern China.
