在我国公路桥涵设计中,大多设计院采用本单位的惯用设计,设计保守且不经济,不同设计者设计的墩身截面尺寸差异很大。根据对某一高速公路的桥墩结构,统计分析不同桥墩结构的使用情况,以及墩高相似时不同设计院的设计差异,应用有限元软件Midas-civil,对通常使用的圆形柱式墩结构的承载力进行了计算,分析了墩身截面尺寸、截面配筋、墩柱高度等因素对圆形双柱式墩承载力的影响,并对30m圆形双柱式墩截面尺寸进行了优化。
