In the modern industry, bisphenol A (BPA) is widely used in the manufacture of polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins, and is also an estrogen-like compound. Because of its mass use, it has caused widespread exposure of humans and other mammals. The results of animal experiments show that exposure to BPA during pregnancy or in the newborn period of a female may lead to precocious puberty, abnormal mammary gland development, reduced prostatic hyperplasia, and decreased male spermatogenesis in the offspring or animal during the neonatal period, which may eventually lead to premalignant lesions in breast tissues and Genital tract serious damage. In addition, the survey of people exposed to BPA also found that BPA has a significant toxic effects on the reproductive system, including the male sexual dysfunction can cause.
