公共利益是一个典型的不确定性概念，但其在目前的多部法律中被广泛应用，尤其在我国新颁布的物权法中被再次提到。因此，我们有必要对其概念、内涵、特征等内容作一探讨，在立法及司法等环节中对公共利益予以界定和审查，以切实维护广大人民的根本利益。
