“Cancellationism” is a “Leftist” trendsetting in the history of the Chinese Communist Party women’s movement based on the introduction of a gender-neutral mobilization policy and opposed to the establishment and advocacy of the elimination of any independent form of women’s organizations. It originated in the period of democratic revolution, and developed continuously after 1949, until it was viciously inflated during the “Cultural Revolution” era. It was only withdrawn from the stage of history afterwards. The origin of the test, as well as the influence of the international communist tradition and Russian experience, is also restricted by the traditional Marxist theory of women’s liberation. The tradition of Chinese Confucian gender culture can not be ignored either.
