“五·四”时期归国的留学日本以及欧美的学生在新文化运动中起了不可磨灭的作用。但是由于留学国度不同,他们在文学上的表现有较大差异,学界对此早有认识。本文拟从出现在这两个留学生群体中几个有趣的文学现象以及学界对二者文学面貌的比较入手,进而探究二者在文学表现上存有差异的原因。 Returned to Japan during the May Fourth Period and Returned Students in Europe and the United States played an indelible role in the New Culture Movement. However, due to the different nationalities of study, they have great differences in literary performance, and scholars have long known about it. This article intends to start with some interesting literary phenomena appearing in the two groups of overseas students and the academic circles’ comparison of their literary appearances, and then to explore the reasons for the differences in their literary performance.
