Atlanta is the largest city in the southeastern United States, the largest trading, transportation and industrial center and the capital of Georgia. Its status and influence are very prominent. The establishment of the city of Atlanta has a legend. Founded in 1837, it was built in 1847 on the basis of the starting point of the railway to the west of the southeastern United States. During the Civil War, General Sherman of the Allied Forces realized that Atlanta was important to the enemy and, after taking over Atlanta, destroyed most of the city’s buildings. However, Atlanta was rapidly rebuilt after the war and became state in 1868. After the Second World War, with the development of economy in South America, it became a newly emerging modern city. Currently, the traditional cotton textile and food industry in Atlanta still occupies an important position. The former obtained raw materials from cotton nearby, while the latter smelled the world with Coca-Cola beverage. It is the headquarters of Coca-Cola Company.
