Recently, the EU Consumer Protection Department reached an agreement that the EU countries, producers in the future obligation to indicate the content of seven kinds of food packaging ingredients. About two-thirds of all food products sold by German supermarkets are labeled with various contents, so far this has only been for voluntary purposes by the manufacturer. The new EU rules have turned this into an obligation. The ministries in 27 countries now agree that fat, saturated fatty acids, sugars, proteins, salts, carbohydrates, and calories, all of which must appear on the outer packaging of food, and that all must appear in clear-cut writing . As for the mark should appear in the packaging where the EU countries do not have a uniform standard.
