  Spinning equipment: continuous growth of automation demand
  In order to meet the urgent needs of downstream spinning industry to save labor and reduce the labor intensity of workers, spinning equipment enterprises continue to carry out technological innovation and upgrading, and overall maintain a stable development. With the market situation warming up, spinning machinery orders showed a good growth momentum in the first quarter of 2019. With the stop of expansion of domestic spinning production scale, developing international market in 2019 will become an important development direction for spinning equipment enterprises.
  In the past 2018, the overall operation of spinning machinery enterprises is relatively stable. According to the statistics of China Textile Machinery Association on key production enterprises, except for rotor spinning machine, ring spinning machine increased slightly, while roving machine, drawing machine, comber, carding machine and automatic winder decreased in varying degrees. However, compared with the same period in 2017, the roving frame with automatic yarn dropping device increased by 114%, the aggregate spinning device sold more than 5.2 million spindles, a slight increase of 4%, the rotor spinning machine sold about 570,000, an increase of 18.8%, the staple twisting machine sold about 3,200, an increase of 23.9%. According to survey, more than 15,000 eddy-current spinning units were added in 2018. The agglomeration spinning equipment has been growing for several years, and in 2018, more than 5 million spindles have been added and reformed. The auto-drop roving frame also has a great growth year-on-year, which shows that the market demand for automation and labor reduction continues to strengthen. With the difficulty of employing workers and increasing labor costs in textile enterprises, the upgrading and transformation of stock spinning equipment, especially ring spinning frame, has been intensified. With the increasing variety and count of short process equipment spinning, the trend of partial substitution for ring spinning is more obvious. The automation transformation scheme developed for the spinning and winding processes with more workers and high labor intensity, such as yarn dropping, management and yarn throwing, still has great development space in the future.
  In terms of export, the export value of spinning machinery reached USD 746 million in 2018, an increase of 21% over the previous year. Among them, the export amount of carding machine, drawing machine, cotton comber, cotton roving machine,cotton spinning machine, doubling machine and other equipment is much larger than that of import, which shows that domestic cotton spinning equipment has been actively going abroad through continuous innovation and upgrading.   In 2018, the main reasons for the growth of high-speed rapier looms, water-jet looms and air-jet looms are as follows: First, under the influence of supply-side reform, China’s textile industry restructuring and product upgrading continue. Second, the implementation of the national environmental protection policy has been strengthened. Under the more stringent environmental protection policy of the country in recent two years, many domestic actions have been taken to reduce lowend production capacity, such as the plan of eliminating 100,000 waterjet looms in Wujiang, Jiangsu Province in three years, which has greatly promoted the structural adjustment of the textile industry in the region and made the market demand for air-jet looms soar. Thirdly, with the rapid development of home textiles and industrial textiles industry, the demand for special fabrics is also growing, which also forms a new market demand. Fourth, India, Indonesia, Pakistan and other overseas textile markets are gradually accelerating the pace of improving the layout of the industrial chain, and the corresponding demand for weaving machinery is also showing a growth trend, driving the new demand of the loom market.
  In 2019, the demand for high-grade looms will continue to increase, and the enterprises of water-jet looms and air-jet looms are confident to maintain growth.
  Specifically, the main business income of chemical filament fabrics increased by 9.63% last year due to the wider application of chemical filament fabrics, which also increased the demand for domestic waterjet looms. Rapier loom mainly produces jacquard products, including two categories of products - high-grade jacquard fabrics and denim. At present, due to Sino – U.S. trade frictions, rapier loom enterprises are expected to reduce orders. In addition, the increasing pressure of environmental protection has led to a decline in investors’ willingness to invest. In 2018, rapier looms, whether imported or exported have declined. From what rapier loom enterprises know, most of them have orders, but not many and discontinuous.
  After the Spring Festival this year, loom equipment enterprises have started early, with relatively full tasks and ample orders. From the actual orders, in 2019, the enterprises of water-jet looms and air- jet looms are confident that they can maintain a certain growth. In recent years, both air-jet looms and waterjet looms are improving, and the demand for high-end water-jet looms will continue to increase.   In terms of innovation and R&D, weaving equipment enterprises cooperate with scientific research institutes, pay more attention to R&D, and achieve accurate quality control in R&D. Through R&D and innovation, weaving equipment enterprises have improved rapidly in recent years, and their production has reached high standards and intellectualization.
  Product upgrading, equipment must also be upgraded. Over the past two years, foreign weaving equipment is also improving. Although there is still a certain gap between our main weaving equipment and foreign advanced level, the progress is also very obvious.
  Knitting equipment: international differentiated development is the direction
  In 2018, the market performance of the main warp knitting machines differed significantly. The lace machine market needs to be restored, after the growth at the end of 2017, the high-speed machine market will decline to a certain extent in the second half of 2018, the double needle bed warp knitting machine market is relatively stable, and is increasingly used in shoe material production. The circular weft machine industry is relatively stable in general in 2018. Over the years, the market sales are between 20,000 and 30,000 per year. The jacquard machine industry, which had a good market performance before, had a slight decline. From the first quarter of 2019, we can see that there is some pressure on the market operation. In 2018, the flat knitting machine industry experienced a sustained and rapid rise from 2015 to 2017, and the market sales in 2018 declined to a certain extent.
  For knitting equipment enterprises in 2019, more efforts need to be made in the direction of internationalization and differentiation. At the same time, in some subdivisional areas, such as circular weft machine industry, through the organization of branch consensus, to standardize the market, gradually adjust from payment methods, talent competition, price competition, etc., which is more conducive to the healthy development of the industry. Flat knitting machine enterprises are also actively improving product efficiency.
  Dyeing and printing equipment: environmental protection and intelligence are still the future trend
  In 2019, environmental protection, energy saving, digital monitoring and intellectualization are the top priorities in the development of dyeing and printing machinery. At present, dyeing and printing enterprises not only require dyeing and finishing equipment to meet the requirements of high-quality production and energy saving and environmental protection, but also begin to pay more attention to the intelligent production and management of equipment. The application of advanced numerical control technology lays a good foundation for the popularization of intelligent dyeing and printing system. The application of digital production monitoring system, digital sizing system and automatic distribution system can not only ensure the accuracy and repeatability of dyeing and chemicals preparation, but also obtain more and more user recognition in cleaner production, reducing labor intensity of workers and stabilizing product quality. There is an urgent need for intelligent production in areas where dyeing and printing enterprises are concentrated in Guangdong, Zhejiang and Shandong.   Digital printing is a hotspot in the current industry. It has the advantages of rapid market response, rich color, customizable production and environment friendliness. In recent years, the technology of digital inkjet printing machine has developed rapidly, and new models have emerged in endlessly, including high precision reciprocating digital direct jet machine and high-speed single-pass equipment, screen printing + digital inkjet combined machine and wide-width typewriter.
  Overall, the new technology will change the production and management mode of traditional dyeing and printing industry, improve production efficiency and save resources. Environmental protection, energy saving, automation and intelligent production are still the devel- opment direction of dyeing and printing machinery. The development of equipment will help user enterprises to realize the whole process data acquisition and management, and establish digital and intelligent dyeing and printing workshop.
  Nonwovens equipment: practice hard to meet market challenges
  In 2019, the development trend of non-woven equipment is still large, high-yield and high-speed, and further realize personalization and intelligence.
  Through surveying, it is found that domestic non-woven equipment manufacturers are working hard to meet market challenges. On the one hand, in pursuit of quality progress, through the application of intelligent and digital technology, we continue to increase technological innovation, promote product upgrading, actively develop new technologies and products, on the other hand, some enterprises actively expand downstream industrial chain, and have achieved some results.
  However, the domestic non-woven equipment enterprises are also facing three common problems. First, environmental policy. For the non-conforming process to be rectified, but this increases the operating costs of enterprises. The second is the problem of talents. It is difficult to attract and retain high-level talents. The third is the problem of land. Land is also the main factor restricting the development of enterprises.
  Overall, thanks to the rapid development of industrial textiles and nonwovens industry, the development of domestic nonwovens machinery in high speed, high performance, high quality, as well as continuity, automation and informationization has achieved remarkable results. The complete production line of conventional nonwovens has basically been localized, and some of the equipment technology level has reached the international leading level. The introduction of a series of new equipment provides the most powerful technical support for the efficiency improvement and new product development of the whole nonwovens industry, and also opens up a new market for nonwovens machinery enterprises. The development trend of non-woven equipment is still largescale, high-yield and high-speed, and further realizes personalization and intellectualization. Relevant enterprises should pay more attention to energy saving and recycling of resources, equipment should be more energy-saving and water-saving, waste should also be more recycled and reused. In addition, more and more entrepreneurs are striving to upgrade the original technology, at the same time, they have increased the training of professional and technical personnel, which has become the industry development trend.
