OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of GC-PTP for acute migraine in adults by analyzing the results of multiple controlled trials. Source: Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Medline, Embase, LILACS, CINAHL, Minutes, Clinical Practice Guidelines, and other resources. Inclusion criteria: Randomized controlled trial of metoclopramide in the treatment of acute migraine in adults. RESULTS: We found 13 eligible trials from 596 possible related abstracts and comprised a total of 655 adult patients. A comparison of placebo with metocloptin showed that metoclopramide had a more pronounced effect of relieving migraine (OR = 2.84, 95% confidence interval, 1.05-7.68). With other drugs alone
