康、雍、乾三代作为清朝盛期,社会呈现出安定繁荣的局面,绘画上也具有特定的时代风貌。文人画风靡、水墨写意画盛行,山水画勃兴,出现了一大批被美术史传颂至今的绘画大家,如“四王”、石涛、龚贤、郑燮、高其佩等。但也有许多极具艺术水准和知名度的画家,因社会地位、作品流传范围等因素,不太为后人所知。他们或曾名噪一时、或技艺高超,但最终都以这样或那样的原因遗忘在了岁月的某个角落,或仅仅被画史一笔带过。他们的被忽视在今天的拍卖价格上显露无疑,许多曾为时人追捧的“名家佳作”的拍卖价格在天价频出的当下显得那样卑微,这种不平衡现象似乎是亟待市场予以重视的。

The literati are all the rage, the popular ink freehand brushwork, the rise of the landscape paintings, there have been a large number of painters who have been praised by art history so far, such as “Four Kings ”, Shi Tao, Gong Xian, Zheng Xie, Gao Qipei and so on. However, there are also many artists with great artistic standards and popularity that are not well known to the posterity because of their social status and the extent of their circulation. They were either famous or highly skilled, but eventually forgot one or the other of the years for one reason or another, or just by painting history. Their ignorance is undoubtedly revealed at today’s auction prices. Many of the best-selling auctions of “famous masterpieces” seem so humble nowadays that this imbalance seems to be urgently needed by the market of.
