新平县漠沙镇地处哀牢山脉东麓,红河中上游,新平县城西南,红河自西北向东南穿境而过,国土面积492 km2,境内最高海拔2 647 m,最低海拔422m,年均气温21℃,具有“天然温室”之称。
The desert town of Xinping County is located in the eastern foot of the Ailao Mountains, the middle and upper reaches of the Red River, the southwest of Xinping County, and the Red River runs through it from northwest to southeast. The land area is 492 km2, with the highest elevation of 2 647 m and the lowest elevation of 422 m. 21 ℃, with “natural greenhouse ” said.
