1989年4月《张之洞全集》编辑组成立时,确定以北平文华斋1928年刊刻的由王树楠编《张文襄公全集》为底本,做如下三项工作:一、辑佚;二、求真;三、断句。努力的目标是:文献求完备,编次求有序,版本求真实,校勘求精审,断句求准确,出注求简约,便于使用,有裨研究工作。在本书编辑整理工作已进行四年并被列入国家第九个五年出版计划的重点图书之后,1993年,河北人民出版社组织编辑《张之洞全集》,并于1998年出版(下文简称河北版)。该书收录丰富,使我们受益匪浅。但觉得仍有继续工作的必要,并力求做到比该书在各方面都有所进步,文献更多一点,真一点;断句准一点;错漏少一点;编排更合理一点。我们的书后出,理应如此。 When the editorial team of “The Complete Works of Chang Chih-tung” was established in April 1989, it was decided that the following three work should be done on the basis of Wang Shu-nan’s compilation of the Complete Works of Zhang Wenxiang published in 1928 in Peking. ; Third, the sentence.
