人和某些猴类是麻疹病毒(MV)的宿主,而啮齿动物一般不感染MV。目前为止,尚没有感染MV后产生与人类症状一样的动物模型。一些亲神经的病毒株可在鼠大脑半球内复制,但不能在脑外的其它组织,如肝、肺、脾、肾等组织内复制。作者认为,这些差异与灵长类动物细胞表面的特异性受体有关。本文通过猴红细胞(RBC)玫瑰花形反应,结合单克隆和多克隆抗体以及基因技术,观察了MV对不同细胞的结合及感染效应,为确定宿主细胞的MV受体提供了证据。
People and certain monkeys are hosts of measles virus (MV), while rodents generally do not infect MVs. To date, no animal model has been developed that produces the same symptoms of human disease as MV. Some neurotropic virus strains can replicate in the hemispheres of mice, but not in other tissues outside the brain, such as liver, lung, spleen, kidney and other tissues. The authors believe these differences are related to specific receptors on the cell surface of primates. In this paper, we observed the binding and infection effects of MV on different cells through the RBC rosetting reaction combined with monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies and gene technology, which provided evidence for determining the MV receptors of host cells.
