In the middle of the 20th century, with the comprehensive development of modern service industry, the building economy became an important symbol of the prosperity of cities in the world, like Manhattan, New York, City of London, etc. The Chinese building economy, originated in the 1990s in Shanghai and Shenzhen, has extended to nearly 60 urban areas in more than 30 cities such as Hangzhou and Chengdu. The total urban economy of the capital cities in the eastern region and the western region generally accounts for more than 30 percent, and some central urban areas account for more than 80 percent. In other words, building economy is stimulating urban development.
