为了改善传统视频编码器在无线网络传输条件下的容错性能,并减轻由于丢帧引起的误差传播效应,基于经典的视频分析概念和理论,提出了一种新的视频容错算法。该技术参照视频分析中关键帧搜索理论,结合视频容错的特点和实际网络传输条件,在不改变码流结构的情况下,是一种适合无线网络传输的可分层的视频容错编码算法。通过H.263编解码器的试验证明:所提出的算法可以很好地缩短由无线传输丢包引起的误差传播范围,从而得到比较好的视频主客观评价效果。
In order to improve the fault tolerance of traditional video encoder under the conditions of wireless network transmission and mitigate the error propagation caused by frame dropping, a new video fault tolerance algorithm is proposed based on the concept and theory of classical video analysis. The technology refers to the key frame search theory in video analysis, combines the characteristics of video fault tolerance and actual network transmission conditions, and can be a layered video fault tolerance coding algorithm suitable for wireless network transmission without changing the code stream structure. The experiment of H.263 codec proves that the proposed algorithm can shorten the range of error propagation caused by packet loss caused by wireless transmission, and get better subjective and objective evaluation results of video.
