生物技术与新兴生医技术的发展,在人类基因序列完全译码之际,进入了飞快发展的阶段,逐渐成熟的基因治疗技术,带来了医疗的新希望,科学家有能力透过编辑基因序列的方式,产生没有定疾病发生,或具有特殊性质的下一代。然而国际间生技强权国家纷授予特定基因的专利,但实质上对于用以诊断医疗,进而避免疾病人类基因专利的争议,一直层出不穷。本文从一个特殊生物技术“殖入前遗传诊断”为题,探讨创新生物技术发展的过程中,并论述基因专利所可能造成新技术发展的障碍。
The development of biotechnology and emerging biomedical technologies has entered a phase of rapid development in the complete decoding of human gene sequences. The gradual maturation of gene therapy technologies has brought new hope for medical treatment. Scientists have the ability to edit gene sequences The way, there is no set of diseases, or have a special nature of the next generation. However, international biotechnological powers have granted patents on specific genes. However, disputes over the use of medical patents to prevent the patenting of human diseases have been virtually eliminated. In this paper, we will discuss the development of innovative biotechnology from the perspective of a special biotechnology “preimplantation genetic diagnosis” and discuss the obstacles that may cause new technologies to develop through genetic patents.
