可能是吕胜中担任策展人的原因,前波画廊这次参展艺术家的作品实验性都很强,而且大都还和纸质的材料有关,不管是以软纸为创作媒介抑或是木头、玻璃。进入展厅中作品有薄薄的纸巾编制而成的时尚感很强的衣物,还有用报纸编制而成的盔甲,材质和作品之间巨大的反差使得人们产生错觉:这究竟是艺术作品还是时尚服装?这些复杂精细的编织都让人能够感受到艺术家对材料运用的捻熟。平常材质的非常规创作也是中央美院实验艺术系一直以来所倡导的教学理念。观念对于创作的重要性在四位参展艺术家作品中得到了充分的体现,其中《打碎杜尚的小便池》这件作品是艺术家出于自己的理解和方式重新解构了这件艺术史上最著名的作品。安上拉链的小便池不再是那件经典作品。对于艺术家而言,杜尚的小便池只是一个象征,一旦思维模式打开
