在聚氨酯工业上TDI为一重要的和广泛应用的异氰酸酯。其理由为生产原料甲苯二氨价格便宜,在室温为液体,运输、发泡和喷涂都较方便。但TDI蒸气压高,液体和蒸气均有刺激性,可产生皮肤和呼吸道刺激作用。并可使过敏工人在极低浓度下再接触即发生哮喘反应。 TDI允许浓度为0.02 PPM,美国职业病安全和健康研究所建议允许浓度为0.005PPM,上限为0.02PPM。为评价接触TDI对健康的影响,在一新建TDI生产工厂进行了深入研究。工人在此工作前未接触过TDI。在开始工作前,询问主观感觉,肺功能和免疫学资料,由1973年开始和以后继续观察。用个人监测器和空气环境监测器对工厂空气进行连续监测,本文对环境监测作了总结。
