本文分析了希腊艺术家斯蒂芬诺斯·齐瓦普洛斯影像作品《历史的零度》,试图阐明它和德勒兹的理论之间的关系。在简要介绍《历史的零度》故事内容的基础上,运用德勒兹的根茎理论对整个作品的结构进行了分析。不同于平常的线性叙事,《历史的零度》里包含了三个平行叙述的故事,它们看似各不相干,但艺术家却向我们揭示了背后的价值链接。斯蒂芬诺斯·齐瓦普洛斯的作品为我们提供了一种新的叙事结构——根茎般的时空晶体。
This article analyzes the “zero degree of history” of the Greek artist Stephenn Chipvallos in an attempt to clarify the relationship between it and Deleuze’s theory. Based on the brief introduction of the “zero-history” story, the structure of the whole work is analyzed by using Deleuze’s rhinoceros theory. Unlike usual linear narratives, “Zero in History” contains three parallel narrative stories that appear to be unrelated, but the artist reveals to us the underlying links of value. The work of Stephanus Chipwalp provides us with a new narrative structure - rhizome-like space-time crystals.
