环形锁模激光器在光纤传感网络中发挥着重要作用,传统的环形锁模激光器的饱和吸收体的损伤阈值和输出功率较低,在实际应用过程存在一定的局限性。设计了一种改进的光纤传感网络用环形锁模激光器,利用增益介质、泵浦源、锁模调制器件、输出耦合器和谐振腔构建环形锁模激光器的基本结构,在对环形锁模激光器结构进行分析的基础上,设计了一种可补偿像散的基于传播圆法的激光谐振腔,完成光纤传感网络用环形锁模激光器的改进设计。实验结果表明,改进的环形锁模激光器可以输出低时间抖动、高重复率、质量较好的超短脉冲源,并可以在光纤传感网络中稳定运行。
The ring mode-locked laser plays an important role in the optical fiber sensing network. The damage threshold and output power of the conventional ring-mode-locked laser have a lower threshold and output power, which have some limitations in the practical application. An improved ring-mode-locked laser for optical fiber sensing network is designed. The basic structure of the ring-mode-locked laser is constructed by gain medium, pump source, mode-locked modulator, output coupler and resonator. Based on the analysis of the structure, a laser resonator based on the propagation circle method is designed to compensate the astigmatism, and an improved design of the ring mode-locked laser for optical fiber sensing network is completed. The experimental results show that the improved circular mode-locked laser can output ultra-short pulse source with low time jitter, high repetition rate and good quality, and can operate stably in the optical fiber sensing network.
