本研究通过问卷调查的方式,对全国118所高校的182名英语教师的访学动机进行了实证研究。首先采用探索性因子分析的方法,自然析出7种动机因子,由强到弱依次为学术情境、求知兴趣、社会责任、学术关系、学术成果获取、压力缓解和竞争需要。随后我们结合对12位教师的访谈内容进一步分析了教师的访学动机特点。根据研究结果,文末提出了用人单位要为教师访学提供支持,访学单位要加强访学机制建设,促进教师多元访学动机的发展的建议。
Through the way of questionnaire, this study conducts an empirical research on the motivation of 182 English teachers in 118 universities in the country. First of all, using exploratory factor analysis, seven kinds of motivational factors are naturally precipitated. From strong to weak, they are academic situations, interest-seeking, social responsibility, academic relations, access to academic achievements, pressure relief and competition. Then we combined with the 12 teachers interviewed to further analyze the characteristics of teachers motivation. According to the results of the study, the paper proposes that employers should provide support for teachers to visit schools and visiting units should strengthen the construction of visiting mechanism and promote the development of teachers’ motivation for multiple visits.
