Objective: To investigate the relationship between p53 and cerbB2 gene expression and the biological behavior of gastric cancer. Methods: Immunohistochemical Sp method was used to detect tumor suppressor gene p53 and proto-oncogene c in 18 cases of early gastric cancer, 40 cases of advanced gastric cancer, 14 cases of atypical hyperplasia, 22 cases of intestinal metaplasia and 16 cases of superficial gastritis. erbB 2 protein expression. Results: There was no expression of p53 and cerbB2 in superficial gastritis tissues. The expression rates of p53 and cerbB2 in intestinal metaplasia were 227% and 136%, respectively. The expression rates of p53 and cerbB2 were 643% and 286% respectively. The expression rates of p53 and cerbB2 in early gastric cancer were 333% and 111%, respectively; The expression rates of p53 and cerbB2 were 525% and 55%, respectively. The rate of p53 expression in dysplasia and advanced gastric cancer was higher than that in intestinal metaplasia (P<005); advanced gastric cancer The expression rate of cerbB2 was higher than that of early gastric cancer and intestinal metaplasia (P<001). The expression rate of cerbB2 in gastric cancer with lymph node metastasis (64. 3%) was higher than that without lymph node metastasis ( 20%)(P<001); The rate of p53 expression in moderately and poorly differentiated adenocarcinomas was higher than that in well-differentiated adenocarcinomas (P<005); Tissues p53, cerbB2 expression of a strong correlation (P <001). Conclusion: The p53 and cerbB2 genes are involved in the synergistic effect.
