Objective: To investigate the possible role of tumor suppressor gene DPC4/Smad4 in the development of Chinese transitional cell carcinoma. METHODS: Eighteen microsatellite loci in the chromosome region 18q21.1 of DPC4/Smad4 were selected, and 30 cases of transitional cell carcinoma fresh cancer tissues were analyzed and finely genetically mapped. The DPC4/Smad4 antibody was used to treat the corresponding disease.
