In the 1950s and 1960s, the NATO led by the United States and the Warsaw Pact organizations led by the former Soviet Union were the most fiercely contested. They were also the era in which the world’s various types of military equipment, including nuclear weapons, were greatly expanded. As nuclear energy is a new form of energy, it has the remarkable characteristics of low fuel consumption, long lasting power output and so on, and has great military development potential. Under this understanding, the former Soviet Union has successively tested and equipped a new batch of nuclear-powered weapons and equipment, such as the world’s first nuclear-powered surface ship “Lenin” icebreaker, which has so far remained the largest Depth of the dive “Communist Youth League ” nuclear-powered submarines and so on. However, little-known is that the former Soviet Union conducted an experiment on nuclear-powered bomber on the basis of the Tu-95 “Bear” heavy bomber, which was later called the “Swallow” Tu-119 nucleus Powered bomber.
