如果中学英语课堂教学只是围绕教材展开,那么学生能够获得的信息量少,这不利于学生知识的扩展,也跟不上当前高考对学生词汇量的要求。我校英语组以《21世纪中学生英文报》“高中版”作为补充教材,每周进行一节报刊阅读教学实验课。根据实验班与对比班进行报刊教学实验课,对完形填空、阅读理解、书面表达的成绩进行统计。我们主要利用一节课的时间选择三篇具有知识性与趣味性的文章满足学生阅读兴趣的同时,帮助学生提高其阅读分析能力与思维能力。一、报刊文章与传统的阅读材料相比具有很多优点
