As a legend in the history of American literature, Emily Dickinson enjoys a high status in the history of poetry. However, as a female poet creator in the 19th century patriarchal society, Dickinson’s life choices are extremely limited. This article starts from the perspective of women, interpreting Dickinson’s psychology of Christianity, the process of changing the “Lord”, the relationship with family, the view of traditional marriage, the friendship with female friends and her art that is extremely disruptive to traditional poem creation Style, etc. Dickinson argued that in order to obtain a painful inner struggle as the free space required for female writers’ poetry creation, Dickinson argued that loneliness and forbearance should be sacrificed.
