作者设计和研制的儿童保健与膳食管理系统计算机应用软件包括２大部分：儿童膳食管理系统采用新的ｆｏｘｐｒｏ３．０数据库管理系统设计，经过编译形成可脱离环境运行的文件，可使用在ＩＢＭ－ＰＣ及其兼容机上、主机３８６以上，系统软件采用汉字ＵＣＤＯＳ３．０或以上。膳食营养分析计算采用规范的计算方法，最新的标准和食物营养成份数据。可方便、快捷、准确地进行个体、集体儿童膳食调查资料的分析计算及评价，进行科学的营养配餐和儿童生长发育状况的营养评价。儿童保健管理系统采用更先进的技术设计和制作，在ｗｉｎ９５系统支持下运行，可进行儿童体格发育、疾病保健与健康部门及托幼机构、住宿制学校学生的卫生保健与膳食营养管理使用，在儿童膳食营养及生长发育指标、疾病的控制等项指标监测中，将发挥一定的作用，产生显著的社会和经济效益。
