Millimeter waves have a certain degree of indirect biological effects [Guo 鹞, et al. Fourth Military Medical University, 1990; 11 (2): 86]. But the mechanism is still not clear. This experiment explores whether low power millimeter wave radiation has an effect on the endocrine system. MATERIALS AND METHODS One hundred and twenty Kunming white male mice were divided into experimental group (n = 16) and control group (n = 8). The experimental group was irradiated with the millimeter wave generator developed by Xi’an University of Electronic Science and Technology with the frequency of 36.11 GHz and the power density of 5 mW / cm ~ 2.
