樱花是热烈、纯洁、高尚的象征。有人说,樱花虽然开得短暂,但它倾尽了全部美丽,就像一种人生态度。在日本古典文学作品中,关于樱花的描述比比皆是、历代文人墨客留下了不计其数的咏樱之作。日本古代文学经典《古今集·春歌》中咏樱的诗词就有70首,占了文集的绝大部分。江户时代著名诗人松尾芭蕉的不少俳句也都是以咏樱为题的。在日本的古语中,“樱时”被用来形容春天。赏樱本身就是对春天的赞美。

In the Japanese classical literature, the description of the cherry blossoms abound, the literati of ancient literati left countless chant cherry. There are 70 poems of Yong Sakura in “Ancient and Modern Spring Songs” in Japan’s ancient literary classics, accounting for the vast majority of anthologies. A lot of haiku of Matsuo Basho, a famous poet in the Edo period, are all based on chanting Sakura. In Japanese archaism, “Sakurazushi” is used to describe spring. Cherry blossom itself is a compliment to the spring.
