In recent years, molecular human cheek studies based on various genetic markers and ancient DNA have contributed to enhancing our understanding of the origins and migration of all ethnic groups in East Asia. The evolution of language has a correlation with the occurrence rate of genes in human populations and it has become the consensus of scholars. This article synthesizes the achievements made in the history comparative linguistics study of the Sino-Tibetan language family, and shows that it is necessary to further understand the origin and development of the Sino-Tibetan language and the ethnic groups speaking Chinese and Tibetan languages. It is necessary to explore the relationship between language and population genetics, The study of physique anthropology, archeology and ecological environment is closely integrated with each other to find valuable common elements from the languages of the Sino-Tibetan ethnic groups and to try to elucidate the origin and interdependence of all ethnic groups in East Asia and Southeast Asia.
